Flowers bloom throughout summer

While the vibrant blooms of spring are certainly delightful, I prefer the passionate intensity of summer flowers.

Reading Tagore's *Stray Birds*, the line "Life is as brilliant as summer flowers" immediately comes to mind, conjuring images of vast fields of sunflowers. I firmly believe that the "summer flower" in the poem must be the sunflower. It's like a radiant smile, blooming on the face of summer. No other flower can so bravely follow the sun's direction, its fragrance and brilliance lasting an entire season.

In my childhood memories, every summer, sunflowers flourished in our small courtyard, their golden petals gleaming. They would always appear unexpectedly, proudly unfurling their petals at the tips of their branches. They weren't delicate flowers, easily withered by wind or rain. They grew wildly under the scorching summer sun, quickly reaching a height I could only look up to. Their stems and flower heads grew increasingly robust and full, and finally, bearing abundant fruit, they humbly bowed their heads.

My parents planted a yard full of sunflowers, simply hoping to harvest some seeds for their children to enjoy. Time flows like water, and things change, but those sunflowers, growing in my memory, have given me life lessons: no matter the circumstances, be brave and strong, always keeping your heart facing the sun; even with glorious achievements, remain humble and not arrogant…

Now, in my small town, there are no sunflowers in the summer. The city's cramped space can't accommodate the sunflowers' vibrant bloom. Henna, also a summer flower, can thrive anywhere. Perhaps it only has a small flower head, but it can bloom like a flock of colorful butterflies, beautiful and alluring.

A room without flowers inevitably feels monotonous and dull. Too many delicate flowers require a lot of care and attention. In the sweltering summer, for a lazy person like me, henna is the perfect choice. Just casually toss a few seeds into a pot on the balcony, and water it when I have some free time. And then, unexpectedly, it catches my eye: lush, green leaves, vibrant flowers—a cluster of flourishing henna brings a burst of life to the home.

Henna truly lives up to its name; crush the flowers and leaves with alum, and it unleashes its magical properties: it blooms a vibrant red on fingernails, adding a touch of simple elegance to women who love beauty. It can also dye a child's soles a bright red, while simultaneously having a cooling effect to relieve summer heat. Life is tough; living like henna—undemanding of circumstances and possessing unique talents—life would be much easier!

The sweltering heat easily makes people irritable. But if you plant a flower in your heart, life will naturally become fragrant and pleasant. My child is taking the college entrance exam this year, making this summer feel especially long. From the start of the college entrance examination to the end of the admission process, my QQ signature was always filled with a subtle floral fragrance: when my child walked out of the examination hall, my thought was "waiting for the flowers to bloom"; after the scores came out, I felt "a subtle fragrance wafting"; and after successful admission, my heart was filled with "

flowers blooming in full glory." A peaceful summer. Even in the face of adversity, let us not forget to plant a seed of hope in our hearts, so that one day, "our hearts will blossom with joy."
