The boundless spring scenery is too late

"I've left someone in Buenos Aires for a long time. I don't know how he is now, whether he last went to the falls, whether he's still in Argentina, or whether he's still hanging out with a bunch of foreigners. He was a very, very good friend of mine, his name is Ho Po-wing. I don't go looking for him because I don't want to hear those words." "I haven't seen Lai Yiu-fai for 23 years. I'm still in this rented room, but no one dances with me here. I still go to that bar often, but I haven't found him. I still haven't gone to the falls. I'll keep everything tidy at home, waiting for Lai Yiu-fai to come back so we can go together, because there are always two people standing under the falls. I really, really want to find him, so we can start over."
The dim streetlights, the moldy green wallpaper, the tango played by the two in the kitchen, and the lamp on the bedside table all speak of the lingering feelings of many years.
In 1997, coinciding with Hong Kong's return to China, a couple went to Argentina, on the other side of the world.
